Our Mission

The Men Ministry

The mission and purpose of this department is to develop an effective, dynamic, and growing army of men effectually living the Christian life and good role models to the family and community.

Men

Responsibilities Undertaken in this Department

    -Creating opportunities for men to have fun and fellowship, Bible study and prayer.
    -Researching and providing resource options for individual as well as group bible studies.
    - Raising, mentoring and training young men to be responsible future husbands and fathers.
    -Scheduling and hosting periodic men’s retreats, seminars and conferences for capacity building in line with specific needs.
    - Arranging and hosting entrepreneurial seminars for economic empowerment
    - Carrying out discipleship classes for men at JCC – Agape Fellowship.
    - Outreaching other men in the community with the gospel of Jesus Christ

Men

These activities help men to

    -Spend daily quality time in prayer and Bible study.
    -Perform priestly duties in their homes as required of those who are fathers and husbands
    -Engage in consistent daily memorization of Scriptures.
    -Spend a portion (2-3 hours) of one day per week in evangelistic calling.
    -Be involved in personal discipleship, both small group and one-on-one.
    -Spend not less than one day a month in prayer and fasting.
    -Be involved in income generating projects to support their families and God’s work
