Woman Weep Not Ministry

To reach the lost and hopeless woman with the gospel of Christ for salvation, minister God’s grace to the destitute women and the hurting, reach the widows with the love of God for fulfilled life, and stir up single women to maximize on their lives for God.
Woman Weep Not Ministry is an interdenominational ministry to women that was founded by Bishop Mellen Achanga, with a vision of Raising up powerful women of integrity and victorious in the society from all sorts of life through the word and grace of God. The vision focuses to seeing the lost woman saved, destitute lifted up, widow living a fulfilled life and single maximizing on her single life. The vision of this ministry is founded on Luke 7:13 When the Lord saw her, His heart went out to her and He said. “Woman weep not”.

Under Woman Weep Not we have an organization called Unity Walk that reaches hopeless women, the destitue, widows by blesssing them with matresses, blankets and food.

Our Objectives

• To raise up teams of women to do the work of evangelism with a focus to women and their children, in Kenya and beyond the boundaries of Kenya.
• To inspire, stir up and challenge women in faith to identify their positions in the church and society while standing with and serving under servants of God from their respective churches and ministries.
• To establish strong and God fearing families through fellowship and ministry.
• To help the poor, needy, and disadvantaged women in the community who are physically and spiritually depressed and oppressed.
• To encourage unity in the body of Christ by networking with churches

Our Activities

• Organize evangelistic missions for soul winning, reaching women through media, and speaking in engagements.
• Do regular seminars and Christian rallies to specific groups of women (widows, singles and married) as well as impacting conferences for all.
• Carry out a premarital guiding and counseling sessions to those planning to marry and marital counseling to the married.
• Hosts monthly prayer meetings for women.
• Build the capacity of women in entrepreneurship to be able to start income generating ventures to support their families and the work of God.
• Show act of charity to the poor and disadvantaged women in the community.
