The Women Ministry

The overall purpose of Women’s department at JCC Agape Church is to raise up Godly women who will glorify Christ in all areas of their lives, at the same time helping to fulfill the Great Commission. By encouraging, training, and challenging women to minister to each other and the church as God has gifted them to do so, the Women’s Ministries provide a biblically sound avenue for achieving this overall purpose. Women are daughters, wives and mothers. In today’s society, women carry much, if not most of the responsibility in the home and therefore they need ministry support for each element of their lives. of basic needs and guiding & counselling for the disadvantaged children as well as HIV/AIDS infected and affected persons.

WOMEN

Basic responsibilities of this Department

    1. Give women an opportunity to fellowship and edify one another in Christian faith through regular bible study, prayer and general fellowship.
    2. Raise, mentor and train young women to be responsible future wives and mothers according to Titus 2:3-4
    3. Recruit and train leaders to assist in women’s ministries.
    4. Organize and host periodic women’s retreats, seminars or conferences where women are exposed to and learn different skills e.g. cooking, dressmaking etc.
    5. Disciple women in faith while equipping them to reach other women in the community with love of Christ.

WOMEN

Woman Weep Not Ministry

    Joy Celebration Center is also blessed to have an active Women Ministry called Women Weep Not Ministry Headed by Bishop Mellen Achanga Woman Weep not was opened in 2005. Since then Women Weep not Ministry has been having annual meeting every April. The meeting is always interdenominational, all churches are welcome to attend and listen from God. Woman Weep Not Ministry mainly focuses on reaching all the women through the word of God by blessing widows with mattresses, food and clothing.
